Dear All You Lovers of the Herbicidal Houseness,
As you may have seen in the last few days.....the "Velvet Lounge" was compromised with a back door "Spam" intrusion. And not the Fun back door kind either. (inquire within) Like these people don't have anything better to do. We got our automation list spammed....by the Spam Bitches. (now there's a rock band waiting to happen....or maybe my new drag name for Folsom.) My deepest and humble apologies to you all for any inconvenience, or confusion that it may have caused. But you can rest assured, that not one of your Email addresses were compromised or exposed. It was my fault, and it has been fixed and shouldn't happen again. We left the back door open, and not the Fun one, but it has now been locked. (and not the Fun way either.) Also, Big Thanks for all those who alerted us as to the problem. Again, it should not happen again. If there is any spamming to be done here....I'll be the one to be doin' it....but I'll DOIT the Fun way. (locks included.)
So, if I might soothe your nerves, or tweak them ;) Let me try with yet another set of the Herbicidal. As you know, I try not to post the same ol' songs over and over....yet some are Herbicidal Classics and never leave the box. There is always a Lot of new music in the box week to week. Here is a new set from last week that contains a few of my fave newies, such as the new hottie by the Raker Project "Get It Togther". It's peak night, so I promise to come down for you again soon. Promise!! Put this one on when you need to get your head around, before going out to the Big club one night....before you get "Behind the Wheel"...as it were. Although I think that song is one of the biggest "Bottom" records of all time. It's why I Love IT. (ps. Loving the new DM album too.)
I hope you all forgive us for "the Incident" (but, not the Fun one,) and that you are all having a wild and wonderful summer of 2009. Also hope that you are feeling some sexiness in your lives. Go do something Fun for yourself....like buy a wicked new pair of shoes, or call me, for a ride on your new boat. Trust me, I May not be there every time you scream my name, but, I'll Always BE on time. Just BE Fierce WhutEva you Do. And I hope, that I get to see you all sometime very soon, Havin' IT, on my dance-floor. Holla at me, and let me hear what you've been listening to. Especially since I listen to a Lot of different types of music at home. I like My mind exxxpanded too, you know.
